Road Trip!

Yeah, it happened, it was great, and there are pictures to prove it! I have come to a decision...perhaps one of the best ways to begin a new year is to take a road trip with some of the most fantastic people that you know.

Over Christmas break, I journeyed down to Texas to spend time with friends that I have made over the years while working at Camp Barnabas. We spent some time in Houston, visiting the local tattoo parlors (thank you Paige), zoos, and firework warehouses. Oh, we also made a stop at the Holocaust Museum. I think one of the highlights of the trip though was the daily swim each morning.

After a few days we ventured to Camp Barnabas for the staff retreat. I think that I hurt my lower back. I plan to see a masseuse.

This next section, I dedicate to my friend Mark. Mark and his family welcomed me into their home and into their life for a week. From what I can tell...they're pretty great. Plus they have a variety of pop-tart flavors to choose from...that says something about something.

Oh yeah, reality soon hit, and now I find myself at school once again. But it is good. I moved to a brand new residence hall and getting settled in.

Signing off for now.
